McMinnville Cruisers News

The Bicentennial Cruise-in of the McMinnville Cruisers was a record breaking evening. We reportedly had a record breaking 87 vehicles cruise in. We had a record breaking $311 in the 50/50. The Club donated their half of this ($155) to Goody's for the Children's Miracle Network. We collected a record breaking $55 in the cake walk. It was a fun filled evening with the cake walk, water balloon toss, toilet paper toss, matchbox car contest, radiator belt toss and perfect weather. Foodland donated a ham which was won by Clifford Knudson. Cruiser of the month was Janie and Charles Adams. Cruiseamatic was won by Mike Weiss but he left it in the pot. This means August cruiseamatic pot will be $40. Len Murray did an awesome job as DJ keeping up with all this activity. Charles and Rita Hamilton (Molly's Sweet Shop) had to make a couple of extra food runs to feed the busy crowd. Advance Auto parts was the sponsor of the manager's choice trophy but unfortunately weren't able to be there to present it. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this such a great time for all.


An Advisory Board was selected and met for the first time on March 29, 2008.  ByLaws were developed and approved.  Locate the Bylaws at the Bylaws tab.  The members are Bobby Ashford, Tony Moore, James Kirby, Dwite Woodlee and Mike Weiss.  Steve Jennings was elected as Cruise Coordinator and Bobby Ashford was elected as Historian.
